The port city of Essaouira is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco and should definitely be on the list. The Portuguese-influenced town is located about 240km north of Agadir on the Atlantic coast and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001.
Apart from the flair of the beautiful city I will keep these two beings in my mind, which have their own way of life.
Essaouira is a port city and resort on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Its medina (old town) is protected by 18th-century seafront ramparts called the Skala de la Kasbah, which were designed by European engineers. Old brass cannons line the walls, and there are ocean views. Strong “Alizée” trade winds make the city’s crescent beach popular for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
