This building is part of the Nasir-ol-molk Mosque in Shiraz, which is one of the most ancient mosques of Shiraz and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sites in Iran. Also known as the Pink Mosque, Nasir-ol Molk Mosque looks like an ordinary Islamic mosque at first sight, but as the sun rises, the art of the architecture turns the mosque into a huge kaleidoscope (pictures of this spectacle will follow).
Just like other mosques in Iran the architecture is a combination of symmetry, geometric designs, and vibrant colors creating an astonishing view which you won’t forget easily.
Nasir-Ol Molk Mosque is located in the center of Shiraz, in the southern part of Lotf Ali Khan Zand Street. In this area you can find many attractions, like the Vakil Bazaar, Vakil Bath, Karim Khan Citadel, Pars Museum, Atiq Jameh Mosque, Shah Cheragh, and Tomb of Hafez.
